Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files websites store on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit. They let websites remember information such as preferred language, user session and other settings.
2. Cookies we use
2.1 Essential technical cookies (required)
These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform. Without them, you cannot sign in or use basic features. They do not require user consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Keep the user session active | Session |
| better-auth.session_data | Store user session data | Session |
| saitooth_active_org | Remember the last active organization for faster sign-in | Persistent (1 year) |
2.2 Cookies we do not use
Saitooth does not use analytics, advertising, marketing or third-party tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel), or install third-party cookies. Section 2.1 lists all platform cookies. The light/dark theme preference uses browser local storage, not cookies, so it is not listed. If nonessential cookies are introduced, users will be informed and the required consent obtained before activation.
3. How can you manage cookies?
Manage cookies in your browser settings. Here is where to find them in common browsers:
- —Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- —Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- —Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data.
- —Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage cookies.
Disabling essential technical cookies may prevent the platform from working correctly.
4. Legal basis for cookies
Essential technical cookies are used on the legal basis of legitimate interest and performance of the service agreement (LOPDP, Art. 7), as they are necessary to provide the contracted service.
Any future nonessential cookie will require prior explicit consent under the LOPDP.
5. Cookie notice
On visiting Saitooth, we display an informational notice about essential technical cookies. Since we use no nonessential or third-party cookies, no additional category requires consent and there is no preferences panel.
If we introduce nonessential cookies, we will update this policy and enable a consent mechanism before installing them.
6. Changes
This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect legislative or technical changes. The last updated date appears at the top of this page.
